Vidblox Media Extenders for Coax or Fiber Transports
The PESA Vidblox Fiber/Coax extender series are independent transmitter or receiver units designed to support a common interface between computers and high definition video broadcast equipment. Vidblox units let A/V professionals easily and economically scan convert, extend, scale, distribute and transport computer-based content to or from SMPTE compliant broadcast serial digital devices over long distance fiber or coax connections. Vidblox can solve a number of integrator A/V challenges with a single inexpensive, easy-to-use device. Both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) can support fiber and coax in the same box making them a very cost effective solution when multiple signals need to be distributed from one device. High end scan converters and audio embedders typically add considerable cost to any system integration design when multiple units are required. Until now, you have been forced to purchase different devices to perform multi-task requirements. PESA’s Viblox DVI products solve this challenge with a full set of features normally found in high end products - but at a much lower cost point-per-device. Vidblox provides high-end features, unmatched quality, and simplicity of setup necessary for any system integrator, broadcaster, or live even operator

Cheetah DRS Series Router
With our award winning Cheetah DRS Series Router, PESA truly raises the bar for distributed routing systems. DRS is a full-featured 24 bit, 96 kHz routing system for audio and time code signals in a series of single rack unit frames. A true distributed routing system, DRS uses high-speed multiplexing technology for signal distribution, rather than a crosspoint matrix array. Each 1RU I/O frame provides 128 signal ports and can be located virtually anywhere in your facility. Systems are scalable from 64X64 up to 2048X2048. Most system interconnections are made using common CAT5E cable and standard RJ-45 connectors; and in most configurations, full redundancy of every link in the router system is possible.

DESCRIPTION: Cheetah 1024XR (1024x512) The 1024XR High Definition Digital Video Routing Switcher handles a full range of digital video signals. From broadcast standards for SMPTE S259, S292, S424 and ITU-R Rec. 601 to traditional NTSC/PAL conversion using our exclusive easySFP modules; the Cheetah 1024XR provides brilliant advantages for multi-format routing needs. Signal formats up to 1080p60 are supported. The 1024XR provides for the widest range of rectangular and square matrix sizes. Each 41RU frame is populated with 128x128 matrix cards allowing I/O sizes up to 1024x512. Input and Output cards are based on 16 ports per blade. The matrix card and I/O card granularity allows many different square and rectangular frames sizes making it a cost effective solution when future expansion is planned. Optional features include redundant power and control. Frames can be configured using I/O cards supporting fiber, coax, both fiber and coax, or embedder/de-embedder cards to operate seamlessly with our distributed audio switch fabric. Analog conversion for NTSC/PAL can be accomplished using the easySFP module option. The 1024XR supports many 3rd party control protocols as well as the full featured PESA control system offered with the 3500PRO and PERC2000 System Control Software.
TX25 Plus & TX250 Plus FM Transmitters
THE TX 25 PLUS AND TX 250 PLUS FM EXCITERS ARE DESIGNED TO ACCEPT STEREO MONO MPX AUDIO SIGNALS TO BE MODULATED IN FM AND TO AMPLIFY THE RF. THE TX 25 PLUS AND TX 250 PLUS FM ARE EQUIPPED WITH AN INNOVATIVE AND HIGH-PERFORMANCE POWER SUPPLY STAGE «SWITCHING-MODE MAINS DIRECT», WITHOUT MAINS TRANSFORMER (THE MAINS VOLTAGE CAN VARY FROM 80 TO 265 VAC WITH NO VARIATION ON THE OUTPUT POWER). MAJOR FEATURES INCLUDE HIGH INSULATION FROM MAINS, HIGH OVERALL EFFICIENCY, MODULAR DESIGN FOR FRIENDLY MAINTENANCE, COMPLIANCE WITH EUROPEAN NOrms EN61000-4-3 AND LONG TERM RELIABILITY. IN THESE FM EXCITERS, AN AGC AUDIO CIRCUIT CONTROL IS INCLUDED TO KEEP THE MODULATION LEVEL BELOW THE MAXIMUM FIGURES ALLOWED IN COMPLIANCE WITH CEPT/ERC 5401 E. THE RF OUTPUT SPECIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN DRASTICALLY IMPROVED, THUS OBTAINING FIGURES WHICH ARE COMPARABLE TO DIGITAL TRANSMITTERS. THESE FM EXCITERS CAN BE CONTROLLED LOCALLY BY A PC OR REMOTELY BY MODEM. THE TX 25 PLUS IS A COMPLETELY SOLID STATE EXCITER, FREQUENCY AGILE CONTROLLABLE FROM THE FRONT PANEL WITH ADJUSTABLE OUTPUT POWER UP TO 25 W. THE POWER DEVICE USED TO OBTAIN 25 W IS THE PHILIPS BLF 245. IN TX 250 PLUS FM EXCITER, WHICH CAN BE USED AS A STAND-ALONE TRANSMITTER AS WELL, A POWER AMPLIFIER MODULE WITH THE POWER DEVICE PHILIPS 278, ABLE TO GRANT 250 W OUTPUT POWER IN THE ENTIRE FREQUENCY RANGE HAS BE ADDED.
