Vidblox Media Extenders for Coax or Fiber Transports
The PESA Vidblox Fiber/Coax extender series are independent transmitter or receiver units designed to support a common interface between computers and high definition video broadcast equipment. Vidblox units let A/V professionals easily and economically scan convert, extend, scale, distribute and transport computer-based content to or from SMPTE compliant broadcast serial digital devices over long distance fiber or coax connections. Vidblox can solve a number of integrator A/V challenges with a single inexpensive, easy-to-use device. Both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) can support fiber and coax in the same box making them a very cost effective solution when multiple signals need to be distributed from one device. High end scan converters and audio embedders typically add considerable cost to any system integration design when multiple units are required. Until now, you have been forced to purchase different devices to perform multi-task requirements. A practical solution to switch, transcode, convert and extend signals over copper or fiber optics PESA's easyPORT boxes are multi-format converters that provide a wide range of port options and port density. The easyPORT converters can be configured to support crosspoint switching or conversion for ASI, SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI/DVI, and NTSC/PAL. The basic easyPORT modules are based on three styles: 1) Quad BNC inputs to dual SFP cages outputs; 2) Dual SFP cage inputs to Quad BNC outputs and Dual SFP cages for up to four inputs and four outputs per converter box. The four SFP type card cages can be populated to fit practically any combination of input and output signals. Each easyPORT comes with a built-in Ethernet port and USB port for easy setup and diagnostics. Up to four easyPORT converters can be loaded in a 1RU frame with support for redundant power. Setup is simple with the supplied GUI interface. easySFP for LC fiber optic Receiver Either singlemode or multimode cabling is supported. When using singlemode, the easyPORT converter can support distances up to 10Km; and up to 600m with Multimode using industry compliant LC connectors. easyPORT is compliant with SMPTE 259, 292, 372, and 424 ensuring highly flexible and reliable media conversion for any application. Modules support up to four ASI/SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI signals utilizing a 2.97Gb/s optical transport per fiber port. easySFP for LC fiber optic Transmitter Either singlemode or multimode cabling is supported. PRO-QV4VP Professional 3G-SDI Quad-View Video Processor
PESA’s PRO-QV4VP Professional 3G-SDI Quad-View Video Processor is an advanced video processor for multimedia presentations, and is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications including surveillance, where up to four SDI/CVBS video signals must be displayed on a single display. It supports up to 4 SDI/CVBS video inputs, and provides outputs of both DVI and VGA formatted to a user-configured display. Through software control, up to four video sources may be displayed simultaneously in the desired display layout. The PRO-QV4VP automatically detects 3G/HD/SD SDI or CVBS video inputs and the advanced video processor allows you to manipulate output images to the desired screen position and image size. With the two video output ports you may view the processed signal on two computers, two video devices or a combination of both.

SD/HD/3G and HDMI(DVI-D) input H.264 Encoder
Convert your SD/HD/3G or HDMI Signals into an H.264 Stream H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC) hardware compression and PESA’s optimized transmission technology provide a high definition, full frame rate, IP video stream. The stream can be viewed by an unlimited number of clients on a LAN or WAN provided that bandwidth is available. Image resolutions are configurable to 720p or 1080i at 50 or 60 frames per second or 1080p at 24 frames per second. The video bit rate can be configured from 4 to 18 Mbps. The audio compression is either AAC (128 to 512 kbps audio encoding) or MPEG-1 Layer 2 (64 to 384 kbps audio encoding) with up to 48 kHz sample rate. Video Inputs The PRO-H264E includes one BNC connector for HD-SDI input, and one HDMI input (DVI-D with optional adaptor cable) for connecting video and audio source equipment. Audio Inputs A terminal block connector provides audio inputs for Balanced and Unbalanced connections. This allows for easy onsite connections regardless of the cabling outputs of the audio source. There are also two RCA audio connectors (L/R) which support only unbalanced connections, and the HDMI input carries audio as well. The PRO-H264E can also extract embedded audio from the HD-SDI input. External Device Connections The PRO-H264E includes a serial connection via an RJ-45 connector. This connector can be used as an RS-232 port (fullduplex, no hand shaking) or as an RS-422 (full-duplex) port. These ports allow the PRO-H264E to interface with external devices such as terminal emulation equipment. Management & Configuration Setup and configuration of the device is accomplished by any of three methods: Console menus, a Web interface, or TCP/IP, HTTP and other Internet-related protocols are supported.

Media Converters for Fiber Coax 3G-SDI Data Rates
PESA’s Sabertooth fiber optic mini-extender is a digital video transport module for extending SD/HD/3G-SDI video over long distances using just one fiber optic connection. Its ultra-thin die-cast body allows side-by-side connections to the back of video equipment such as routers and other types of distribution equipment with unit pitch as tight as 0.625 inches. The Sabertooth requires no user adjustments making setup quick and painless. Simply connect the devices directly to the source and add power to achieve perfect signal quality up to 10Km at 3Gbps. Sabertooth is designed to transport one channel of SMPTE 259M, 292M, or 424M serial digital video over long distances through singlemode or multimode fiber with the same module. At approximately three inches in length, the Sabertooth is a cost effective solution, ideal for Pro A/V, mobile broadcast, sporting venues, and remote camera feeds. Further, since fiber optic cable is immune to interference caused by electromagnetic fields (EMF/EMI), these extenders are perfect for command and control, situation rooms, medical imaging applications, and emergency management venues where a perfect picture is not only demanded, but necessary.
