The new Velocitykvm Desktop chassis is a convenient, rack space saving solution. What was typically housed in a 1U chassis is now scaled down to a small desktop chassis size, with easy to install interface module options. These modules support a variety of video display options, such as RGB, single-link DVI, two single-link DVI displays, or one dual-link DVI display. In addition, all modules support PS2, full duplex stereo audio, stereo emitter, and serial (RS-232). Depending on your requirements, module model options feature either USB 1.0 HID (only), and/or USB 2.0 (up to 480 Mbps) device ports. Using multi-mode or single-mode fiber, the system allows users to locate a DVI monitor and peripherals via fiber from just a few meters up to 40 kilometers away from the controlling computer securely without the loss of resolution.
