Broadcasting Development Joint Stock Company, abbreviated as BDC, deals in broadcasting business with the establishment by the transform from State-owned to joint stock company. At the beginning, the company was established in 1979 as the Research Institute for Radio and Television, belonged to Radio and Television Committee of Vietnam, and was renamed as Hanoi Radio and Television Union on 10/10/1991 as the Decision of Ministry of Culture and Information. By 9/8/1994, the company was changed to Broadcasting Development Company - a stated-owned enterprise under the Decision No 517-QD/DFT of Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
